In fairness to him, the Leader of the Opposition, Duma Boko, has made it very clear that he doesn’t condone violence but don’t expect him to start using “gender-based violence” any time soon.

Speaking in parliament last year, Boko trashed the idea of “gender-based violence” and challenged ministers – or anyone else for that matter, to prove otherwise.

President Mokgweetsi Masisi is expected to reverse a decision by former President Lt Gen Ian Khama’s administration to use electronic voting machines during the 2019 General elections. Sources close to the Office of the President have revealed that Masisi has indicated that he was uncomfortable with the use of EVMs because Batswana have not been adequately consulted.
