Botswana deaf athletes put up an extra ordinary performance at the National Soccer and Netball deaf Championships. The games which were held over the weekend at Durban, South Africa helped showcase Botswana’s rich array of talent.

During the games, Botswana emerged winners in the football category while South Africa proved superior in netball.

The 19 year old will soon leave for Griffith College in Queensland, Australia, to pursue Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences for duration of five and a half years.

Former Botswana Football Association (BFA) employees Odirile Daka and Stephen Maleka are facing multiple charges of defrauding the always cash trapped association.

Daka and Maleka were recently arraigned before Extension II magistrate court Babedi Rankoro but their plea was reserved for later date and the accused can bring legal representation.
