Allegations of Regulations Change Overshadow BFA Nominations

Almost three weeks ago on the 6th of June 2024, the Botswana Football Association (BFA) electoral committee announced it had opened nominations for those aspiring to stand for elections into the association’s National Executive Committee (NEC).

The elections will be held on September 14, 2024, during the BFA elective General Assembly (GA). The run-up to the elective General Assembly is now overshadowed by contention over new regulations on nomination of candidates.
