The annual Hotties womens’ Soccer Tournament is back by popular demand. Now in its fifth consecutive year running, the annual ladies soccer tournament promises to be even bigger and better.
Hotties ladies soccer tournament is the first female-led sporting tournament in Botswana that focuses on football as a medium in fitness and entertainment environments, while catering to clients based on their specific needs. Their vision is to become a leader in the development of football as an alternative means of entertainment amongst women in Botswana, particularly amongst the youth.
The event, which starts at 9:00 am, will be held on 5 April at Duma FM grounds. The main feature of the event will see eight 5 a side womens’ teams battling it out for the grand prize, which will be announced soon on Duma FM. The tournament is going to last for two days. Pre sold tickets will be going for P80 before the event, and then they will go for P150 at the gate on the day of the tournament. Team registration is ongoing for an upfront registration fee of only P400 per team of five ladies.
Tshephang Lonkokile, the Marketing and Public Relations Manager for the event said they have so far already registered six teams which include corporate teams from different organisations such as financial institutions and media houses. “We are currently on a massive campaign and we are calling on all car owners to come and get free car stickers and car banners for the event.” She added that they have already branded 25 cars and there are only 30 stickers left.
“Anyone who gets their car branded will get free entry to the show which will have a long line-up of local and international deejays. “
The artist line up for the event includes, but is not limited to chrispin the drummer, Ricky Lamar, t-izzy, phoubuoy, team distant, house junkies, Nt Base, cupid, Miss Kellz, Dizzy Dee, Pilo-Lehipi from Mafikeng, cash money and Q De Soul.
