Batswana youth believe that re-evaluating the democratic model colonial overlords passed on the country and putting in place a governance model tailored to the African context is perhaps the answer to the many challenges facing democracy in Botswana.
These were the findings of a survey done by the Johannesburg-based Ichikowitz Family Foundation (IFF), which polled 5,604 youth aged 18 to 24 from Botswana and fifteen other African countries.
