BDF’s First Generation Equipment – Armoured Vehicles

I have to confess that I am not highly educated in military subjects. My training in the military has only taken me as far as the level of Company Commander, which means I am equipped to go to battle with roughly a hundred men. In the Bible such a person in the Roman Army was referred to as a centurion. Going forward, for those who usually like to call me general including my editor, they must come to terms with the fact that I am far below that level.

Between a company commander and a general, there exists a battalion commander and a brigade commander. But it is through my level of personal study that I have come to appreciate military subjects far much better than a lot of generals especially at BDF and the South African National Defence Force whose generals reached the top because of political connections with the ruling ANC.
