BDP announces 2024 elections campaign team

The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) has officially named Lefoko Maxwell Moagi as the campaign manager for the 2024 general elections, according to a press release issued by the party recently. President Mokgweetsi Masisi, appointed Moagi, citing his strong leadership qualities and unwavering commitment to the party’s core values.

Moagi is set to oversee the party’s electoral strategy, spearheading efforts to secure another term for the BDP under Masisi’s leadership. Known for his strategic vision, Moagi has built a reputation for delivering results and unifying teams, qualities seen as essential as the party heads into what is expected to be a competitive election season.

The BDP also announced the appointment of Nonny Wright as deputy campaign manager. Wright, recognised for her youthfulness and dynamic approach to strategy, brings fresh perspectives to the campaign team. Her role will focus on leveraging her expertise to mobilise a diverse voter base and ensure a strong connection with Botswana’s younger electorate.

The BDP leadership expressed confidence in Moagi and Wright’s ability to drive a successful campaign. “Together, they will guide our campaign team with a shared focus on progress and positive change for Botswana,” the party stated, emphasising their belief in the duo’s capacity to lead the party to victory.
