Botswana is broke

In an unprecedented move, government has withdrawn more than P2,5 billion from the budget approved by Parliament for the financial year 2024/2025.

This has had a ripple effect throughout the government enclave and beyond after P2 6665 851 880 was taken back from the money that had been allocated to parastatals and government departments.
