Botswana Newsrooms weighed down with sexual harassment – Report

Botswana is among a handful of countries in sub-Saharan Africa that are reeling from sexual harassment in the media. This emerged from a research analysis conducted by Dr. Lindsey Blumell and Dinfin Mulupi, which illustrates the disparate ways in which men and women encounter violence in Botswana’s newsrooms and how women are disproportionately subjected to sexual harassment compared to their male counterparts.
