A recent report by the World Bank has delivered a scathing critique of Botswana’s policy-making processes describing them as uninformed and ineffective.
The report likened the country’s authorities to a blind man groping in the dark struggling to navigate the complex economic landscape.
According to the report; “Despite its income status, the country faces multiple data challenges that limit its ability to make informed and effective policy decisions.”
