Brink’s company, rural communities fight over Okavango Delta

The late business magnate Derek Brink’s company is locked in a legal battle with communities in the Okavango Delta over a lucrative concession.  Old Man’s Pan (Pty) Ltd, co-owned with professional hunter Leon Benjamin Kachelhoffer, has taken Tcheku Community Trust (owned by three villages) to court in a dispute over a controlled hunting area known as NG 13.
