Brookings Institution — an American think tank that conducts research and education in social sciences, primarily in economics, governance, foreign policy, and economic development – says the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) is likely to retain legislative majority in the upcoming general elections which will be held later this year.
According to the think tank’s Foresight Africa 2024 report, which was published last week, the Umbrella for Democratic Change’s (UDC) disarray will probably work to the ruling party’s advantage.
