Confusion over selection of Task Team appointed to revive Air Botswana

The Ministry of Transport and Public Works has appointed a Task Team of five individuals to lead efforts aimed at stabilizing and revitalizing Air Botswana’s operations. Sunday Standard leans that this is part of a broader plan to address the challenges facing the national airline which has struggled with operational inefficiencies, regulatory hurdles, and financial instability.

The appointment has however raised questions regarding the clarity of the Task Team’s mandate, the suitability of its composition, and the potential implications for the airline’s existing staff.
