Development Advance Institute (DAI) a company specialising in humanitarian and social development issues and other stakeholders have introduced a new entrepreneurship development initiative, Gabz FM Made Bw. The aim of the initiative is to empower young people, up to the age of 40 years, to successfully setup their business idea with seed money of P100, 000.
Briefing the media on Tuesday DAI manager, Otto von Rudloff said the initiative is meant to create young millionaires with the right mindset in entrepreneurship. He further stated that the initiative is a competition where applicants will develop a business proposal that they will submit for assessment.
He added that the GABZ FM MADE BW is an entrepreneurship development initiative by the Development Advance Institute. Von Rudloff pointed out that the Initiative is basically a competition where applicants will develop a business proposal that they will submit for assessment.
“From this process a shortlist of candidates will be selected to pitch their ideas to a panel of Judges. Once the applicants have made their presentations and their proposals have been put through the judging process, a winner with the most innovative and viable ideas will be selected,” said von Rudloff.
He said the winners will be taken through a 1 year entrepreneur development programme where they will be assisted with tools that will aid them to become successful entrepreneurs. He also added that they will be mentored by a successful businessman to further their opportunity to successfully setup their business idea.
“The overall aim of the programme is to create a young millionaire with the right mind-set needed in entrepreneurship,” said von Rudloff.
