Nthula Lounge is an executive lounge located at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (SSKIA) and offers free access for FNB Private Clients.
Managing Director of Nthula Lounge, Thelma Maswikiti said it offers travelers an opportunity to be able to relax and attend to business while on transit.
“Nthula Lounge is ideal for business people who are always on the go, as it offers the convenience and privacy for one to continue working away from the office. Since its launch we have seen an increase in patrons looking to make use of the facility,” said Maswikiti.
She explained that Nthula Lounge boasts of luxurious seating with massage chairs, free access to Wi-Fi, printing and faxing facilities, access to DSTV channels on LED screens, seasonal, freshly prepared food, freshly percolates tea and coffee, house wine and beer, assorted soft drinks and juices, recreational and business books as well as private bathrooms,” she said.
The lounge has a seating capacity of 25 and is open every day until 10pm when the last flight of the day leaves the airport.
“The modern day traveller can escape into┬áNthula Lounge┬áto enjoy the cool, serene and comfortable environment while waiting to board their next flight,” said Maswikiti.
For his part, FNBB acting CEO Richard Wright said the bank understands that banking has become more than just a business. He said banking is a lifestyle and in this case, the FNB Private Client debit and credit card is a travelling partner that provides customers with unprecedented value through additional services.
Wright further stated that the service offers high end travel, dining and shopping privileges, free access to Slow Lounge at OR Tambo International Airport and over 650 other international departure lounges worldwide as well as purchase protection of up to P182 000 covering against loss or damaged goods within 90 days of purchase.
“Nthula Lounge makes a difference to the way customers spend and experience their travel. Access to Nthula Lounge is free for all FNB Private Clients. However, walk-in clients are also welcome to utilize the lounge for a minimum of two hours at a reasonable cost. FNB Private Clients also enjoy the privilege of inviting one guest per visit,” he said.
He added that from online banking, cell phone banking, the FNB Banking App, ATM advance and now Nthula Lounge, FNB understands that there are more things in life that one should be spending their valuable time on.
“Our private clients can now experience a place where chaos can’t enter, where the journey matters as much as the destination and where a deep breath can last hours,” said Wright.
