Major Moves Comedy recently hosted the 5th Annual Heavyweight International Comedy Festival (HICOFEST) recently that brought together international and Botswana comedians.
The organisers lined up an impressive line-up of comedians from as far as the United States of America (Rich Lyon), Finland (Fredi Lilius), Swaziland (Mdura), South Africa (Vuyo Jiya), Lesotho (Masapo) and local stars such as Phenyo Mawee, Kgafela and many more.
Event coordinator Gaolathe Kediemetse says the event was spurred by the talent that is abundant in Botswana.
The shows were held at the Avani Conference Centre between May 2 and 5.
