Investors ignore BITC survey on corruption

A Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) survey has found that corruption in government procurement is leading the list of impediments to business operations in the country.

The 2022 investment climate survey says “…challenges remain in terms of corruption perception especially in Government procurement, cost of fuel, utilities and inefficient Government bureaucracy.”
