Leapfrog partners with Global Business Labs to help start up companies reach new heights

Leapfrog has just been appointed to be one of the Global Business Labs knowledge partners. Global Business Labs offers a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to grow their business. The Global Business Labs model has been developed at the prominent Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden during the last ten years and is funded by the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA). In Botswana, Global Business Labs academic partner is University of Botswana where the Lab also is located.

The Knowledge Partner Network, consisting of the leading actors in the legal, auditing and marketing field, which support the Lab companies with expertise in their respective fields.
Leapfrog as one of the leading communications and advertising agencies in Botswana will provide marketing, advertising, branding and PR support to the lab companies.

The services will be provided to the lab companies on a pro-bono basis and when contacted to comment on this, the managing Director of Leapfrog Thapelo Pabalinga, said: “I am always ready to help whenever I can especially on issues of entrepreneurship and business. I believe it is through a vibrant growth of the SMME factor that we can see meaningful reduction in unemployment. Bear in mind that the most affected in unemployment is the youth, so however I can assist these youthful start-ups I am happy to do so”.

Global Business Labs has offices in Botswana, Namibia, Uganda and Sweden and through this international network companies have the opportunity to enter several markets simultaneously at low costs. The hope is to see many Batswana companies access this so that they can eventually grow their businesses outside the country and region.
