Mathangwane and other villages get water infrastructure upgrade

The Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) is set to invest P94 million in upgrading the water supply infrastructure for four villages within the Mathangwane villages cluster. These villages include Mathangwane, Makobo, Natale, and Jamataka in the Shashe West Constituency, with a combined population of over 10,000 residents.

A stakeholder engagement meeting was held at the Adansonia Hotel in Francistown last Wednesday to provide updates on the project’s progress. The nine-month project has been awarded to Autodrone, a 100 percent citizen-owned company.
