Truth hurts but truth must just be said. I have been following the outrage that ensued after the leaking of that Modipane threesome sex tape. Normally I would never have written about the Modipane sex tape because, honestly, I have no business worrying about sex orgies that take place in Modipane where I have no relatives or friends. More so, the involved parties are not public figures to warrant public scrutiny on their private lives; sex lives for that matter. I mean, why should I be bothered that some people in Modipane video-taped themselves engaging in consensual sex? Yes, if the case involved vulnerable members of the society such as under-age minors then I would have come out with guns blazing.
It would have also worried me if it was a case of rape, where people were forced to take part in that blue movie. But hell no, the sex video involves two grown-ass men and a woman who is clearly a veteran in sex matters, looking at how she handled those two boys like a pro. The video shows two brothers enjoying the services of a generous woman who insouciantly kneels and bends to pleasure them. The only reason I found it necessary to comment on this issue was after realizing that many people want to depict the woman in the video as a victim and not a culprit. I listened as people scrambled to air their views on private radio stations’ call-in programmes. I was shocked at the hypocrisy and bias displayed by a lot of people who commented on this issue.
Some people blamed the person who leaked the video on social media and to a greater extent I agree that it was very distasteful and hurtful to share a supposedly private video on public platforms like Facebook. I was however shocked that while almost everyone felt the woman deserved to be saved from the embarrassment that came with the leaking of that video, no one ever mentioned the adverse psychological trauma that the youngest of the boys in the video, reported to be only 19 years old, will surely suffer. I must perhaps mention that I only watched the first 3 minutes of the reportedly 19 minute-long video. The quality of the video was too bad for my liking and to learn the actors included a 19 year-old boy really turned me off. I just couldn’t bring myself to watching what I consider ‘child’ porn.
Child porn not because I concede the players are children but only because they are younger than me. What could I possibly learn from a 19 year-old boy who clearly was making his debut in sexual intercourse? Those who analyzed the video to the very end say the 19 year-old boy appears to have been breaking his virginity to the 24 year-old lady who was┬á ‘starring’ in the whole act. The woman performs oral sex on the boys and gives them her ‘cookie’ in various positions, a clear sign she has been there and done it all before. In my view, if there is anyone to be blamed for that unprotected threesome sex, it has to be this 24 year-old woman. At 24, this woman is old enough to take responsibility for her actions. She is mature and normal and is even said to be working at some company in Tlokweng. I therefore do not understand how she can be absolved from blame when she was supposed to have been the one to know better, the consequences of engaging in unprotected sex, simultaneously with multiple partners. And when I talk of consequences I’m not even referring to the video-taping of the sex act. I’m talking about the health risks involved. Some people seem more concerned with the video and not the act in the video.
We should not dwell much on the video because the act of shooting a sex video does not spread sexually transmitted diseases. Rather, we should condemn the fact that the three engaged in unprotected sex. If you asked me who is at risk of contracting diseases among the three actors I would say the 19-year old boy because he was made to bonk, without protection, a woman who clearly has long been sexually active and had slept with other people before. I don’t understand how feminists want to brandish the ‘girl-child’ card in this matter when we are talking about a mature 24 year-old woman. Mosadimogolo hela wa 24 years seducing a 19 year-old uninitiated boy and people want us to feel sorry for her. Okhokho! I refuse to be fooled.
This woman is the only one who is employed among the three actors and as such it is not harsh to say she was in a position to buy condoms prior to opening her legs to the boys. I can only hope the boy will be taken for counseling because it must be really devastating for him to live with the knowledge that the entire country has witnessed his first time sex experience. That said, I think the Police must take stern action against people who steal other people’s private videos and share them on social media. If the Police can allegedly probe Keith Masters for porn material that was safely kept away from the public, I don’t see why they cannot charge those who share porn material on social media especially without the consent of the involved parties. That’s bull-dung!
