A coalition of opposition political parties has issued a notice of intention to sue, demanding the reversal of recent appointments made to the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC). The coalition, represented by Moahi Attorneys, argues that the appointments are unlawful and were made without adhering to constitutional procedures as outlined in Section 65A(1)(C) of Botswana’s Constitution.
