Ram accuses PwC of subverting judicial integrity

Choppies CEO Ramachandran Ottapathu (Ram) has filed an affidavit, accusing audit firm PwC of orchestrating an assault on the integrity of the judiciary. Ram’s response comes in the wake of an application by PwC seeking to nullify interlocutory judgements made against the company in a multimillion Pula lawsuit.

The latest case is part of a larger legal saga in which Choppies Directors Ram and Farouk Ismail are suing its former auditors, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), and auditing partner Binedell Rudi.
