Ramogapi predicts that fate similar to ANC’s awaits BDP

Farther down the road lies a political order in which Palapye MP, Onneetse Ramogapi, will, as a frontbencher, be chauffeured around in a black Mercedes Benz and live in a palatial house in Extension 5, Gaborone. Given his fashion sense and with a generous clothing allowance, he will be wearing custom-made suits whose colours will span the entire spectrum of the colour wheel. On the downside, there will be days when pitiful members of the opposition Botswana Democratic Party visit his C-suite office, get down on their knees and beg him to change some irksome laws that they themselves had made when they were still in power.

“I will refuse!” he said.
