Salty Sescenti launches tantalizing products

Local company, Sescenti Products, held a virtual launch of their product this week as the call to support local companies continues to grow.

The products (that include fine salt, coarse salt, and black pepper) are packaged by Norkridge T/A Sescenti, a manufacturing organization located in Mogoditshane. The iodated salt is sourced from Sowa Town in Botswana ready for consumption and transported by truck to Gaborone for packaging and distribution.

Using a specialized semi-automatic packaging machine by an extremely committed team, the product lines are inclusive of well packaged and labelled 1kg, 280G and 500g options. The company positions itself as a premium but affordable manufacturer with the intention of serving a broader market.

The company has a high potential for profitability and highly driven directors. It is a youth owned company, ran by two young ladies both under the age of 30, Tafuma Mmolawa and Tlotlo Mooketsi.

“We had a launch this week where stringent processes and health measures were put in place in line with COVID-19 protocols.
