Defence and Prosecution teams Monday confirmed trial dates of the high profile murder case implicating former Botswana Defence commando, Thabo Stimela, South African Aubrey Nkuna and businessman Victor Sebina.
The trio is accused of killing Lesley Manga Ntshwane over a dispute surrounding lucrative Rowland watches.
The case has been scheduled for hearing from 5th-12th October.
Unoda Mack, leading the defence team, and prosecutor Ambrose Mubika confirmed the trial dates on Monday.
“My Lord, I talked with the defence team and together we confirmed the trial dates as decided by this court in the last session,” said Mubika. “We also agreed for a mention sometime in August to further ascertain the trial dates.”
The court reserved 27th August as another mention date.
The case is expected to ignite fireworks, particularly that both parties are fighting over a witness – the girlfriend of the deceased.
Stimela and Nkuna are both out on bail.
