A sluggish opposition risks being drowned by BDP cash and merchandise

Money has become the most destructive force in Botswana’s politics.

The ruling Botswana Democratic Party  has loads of it. It always has.

And there used to be a time when the opposition needed money but did not worship it, probably because they had never had it, to start with.

That has changed. Today the opposition leads the way in the worship of money.

Emphatically, money has steadily contaminated our politics, lo and behold,  the opposition Umbrella for Democratic Change has not been blameless.
