The annual Women’s Etiquette Brunch (WEB22), is set to return this month (June 11, 2022) at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort glass marquee. It gives great joy to the event organizers ESTeRES Boutique Agency, to curate and execute the 4th installment of this event after a 2 year hiatus due to Covid 19 ramifications. There is a particular excitement in the atmosphere about this year’s event as its patronage had to wait twice as long as usual. It is a precise moment in time to gather and share where we are as women in our lives, navigating the “New Normal”. ESTeRES agency MD Michelle Phetlhe says she is a firm believer in Personal Development and this is the backbone of all their work at the agency. This has been evident through their other events such as; the Sexual Health and Wellness Event quirkily dubbed ‘Just Sex’. The culinary arm of the business under Chellzkitchen, which conducted group cooking classes for Individuals and corporate team buildings, as well as the myriad of product/service promotions they handle. The most important facet of what ESTeRES does is premised on consumer experience, as well as the lessons and tools that those who engage with the brand acquire.
Every Women’s Etiquette Brunch (WEB) event is unique, based on the fact that conversations experienced are never the same. The topics address issues which are of importance and commonly affect women in the current landscape. The panel, which is carefully selected is bestowed the lead, as individual speakers carry conversations by sharing personal journeys, lessons and advice. During the harsh stages of the pandemic, a lot of us experienced the pain of relying solely on external services/products (Imports). ESTeRES took this lesson seriously and decided this year to have a panel of 100% local speakers. We searched within our boarders, becoming very cognizant of our capability as a nation.
The speakers for #WEB22 are; Mrs. Naseem Lahri- Managing Director of Lucara Diamond BW addressing the topic; Glass Ceilings. Former Minister of Trade and Global Economist Ms. Bogolo Kenewendo, will be speaking on No Limits. She has been quoted saying it is her first in person event in Botswana in a very long time and is very excited about it. Ms. Kenewendo is also happy to announce that she and the organizers have committed to donate some proceeds of the event to a Women or Youth support organization in Boteti (Details to be shared soon). Kgosi Mosadi Seboko of ga Malete will speak on Gender as a Social Construct. A perfect candidate to navigate this mammoth conversation as one of the few Woman Tribal leaders/Chiefs globally. Dr Keneilwe Molebatsi will be unpacking the topic; Mental Health. One can only imagine the depths this topic will take guests into as the world as a whole had their mental Health challenged in a way like never before over the last two years.
Tickets are sold and delivered personally by ESTeRES as this further communicates their dedication to personal experiences (all covid protocols observed). They are retailing at P700, and to get tickets, contact +267 71619565 or the Womens’s Etiquette Brunch Facebook page. Purchasing a ticket is the first step to a guest appreciating the gems they will leave the event with. Phetlhe has shared that testimonials from individuals who attended previous WEB events are heart-warming and awe inspiring and she look forward to new empowerment stories. We are thankful to our sponsors, our 3 time venue partner, Dulux Botswana, Carerra Holdings, Sego Events, Mosha Spa, Aldo, Options, The goodie Bag Factory and Graham Beck. WEB is clearly a life changing experience and she and the team at ESTeRES would like to keep changing lives for the best.
