Avani celebrates women

Avani Gaborone Resort and Casino closed off the month of August in style on Sunday.

In support of South Africa, Avani Gaborone closed off Women’s month with a “Bubbles and Bites” themed brunch, to celebrate phenomenal women in Botswana and Africa.

National Women’s Day is celebrated annually in South Africa with the entire month of August being dedicated to women.

The event provided Avani Gaborone the opportunity to attract existing and potential guests to the hotel and showcase the Hotel’s unique selling points, skilled staff and its readiness and capability of hosting events of all sizes post Covid-19.

Acting General Manager of Avani Gaborone Resort and Casino, Candice Selato said apart from the amazing opportunity that they will all get in interacting and engaging with phenomenal women coming from different fraternities, it is imperative to create an environment where women can find time to gather and share ideas and experiences in a social setting and inspire each other to greatness, in a less pressurized environment.

Selato also said their hotel is fully equipped with safe and user-friendly amenities that comply with all safety and health regulations governed by the hotel industry.

He added that the Avani brand does not promise quantity, instead they thrive in delivering quality service, restful sleep, indigenous food and ideal indoor and outdoor spaces for memorable events.

The Acting General Manager also noted that if one is looking to maintain a lifestyle or simply aspire towards a specific lifestyle Avani Gaborone Resort and Casino is for them.

Recently appointed PR and Marketing Executive for Avani Gaborone, Samantha Bogopa reiterated the importance of celebrating women in Africa all year round.

She said although Botswana celebrates Women’s Day earlier in the year, it is important to support neighbouring countries.

Bogopa noted that as Avani Gaborone Resort and Casino, they value all the efforts aimed at empowering women and celebrating their achievements.

Through the Bubbles and Bites Brunch event, they aim to bring women together through a bespoke lifestyle experience that is meant to leave them feeling energized and appreciated.

Guests were entertained with vibey and joyful music from well-known local DJs and Singers. Tickets included a complimentary bottle of Annabelle Bubbly and a tasty snack.
