Botswana Meat Commission high command and Ministry of Agriculture officials are investigating possible sabotage in a case in which Botswana beef consignment to Norway was recently sent back because it was not issued the correct certificate.
Indications are that the case may ultimately be reported to the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime (DCEC) for further investigation following a recommendation by Botswana National Beef Producers Union (BNBPU).
