BMWU alleges labour law violations by Medupi Mining Services

The Botswana Mining Workers Union (BMWU) has lodged serious accusations against Medupi Mining Services, accusing the company of flouting labour laws and disregarding the Debswana Citizen Empowerment Program (CEEP). Medupi Mining Services, a citizen-owned company subcontracted by Debswana for blasting and drilling services at the Jwaneng operation, stands accused of denying workers their right to join a union of their choice.
