Ahead of the so-called Special General Meeting (SGM) by a section of dissenting affiliates, Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) warned the ring leaders to cease and desist from holding what it deemed an illegal meeting.
The warning by the incumbent Mpho Bakwadi led BOKA executive committee went unheard. The dissidents were adamant the meeting would proceed. That was despite some of the petitioners’ withdrawal, which had left them falling short of forming a quorum to proceed with the ‘SGM.’
