Botswana faces new US Visa processing crackdown

Botswana travellers seeking entry into the United States are increasingly being pushed into a more complex, costly, and restrictive visa system as new policy shifts tighten both where applications can be processed and how applicants are financially screened.

A report by the Associated Press suggests that Botswana nationals are among African travellers now required to process U.S. visa applications outside their home country with many having to travel to South Africa to complete visa interviews and documentation.
