Gaborone High Court judge Michael Leburu will in July later this year make a determination on whether some of Okavango Diamond Company (ODC)’s pleadings should be struck out.
Businessman Isaac Leshona is suing the government owned company for over P100 million pula for intellectual property theft and copyright infringement.
Leshona, through his lawyer Bernard Tubego-Bulawayo of Piyush Sharma Attorneys, accuses ODC of lying in their court records for claiming they have records to prove they did not use his idea to auction at the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE). ODC reportedly made P1, 4 billion worth of sales.
