The road to retaining their identity has not been easy on Township Rollers, its players, supporters and leadership.

Following the departure of financier Jagdish Shah, Rollers is feeling the pinch. Shah left the team after the supporters allegedly refused to grant him a 100 percent shareholding of the team.

In the wake of his departure, the team identified Jimmy Kereng as its new president and financier. He is however already alleged to be on the way out. The burden of financing the team is allegedly too heavy for him to carry.
