DPP plumbing accident roils the Isaac Kgosi investigation

The Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP) was today (Wednesday) forced to send prosecutors and support staff back home and close down offices, after their building was deluged by a freakish flood.

In a curious coincidence, the DPP plumbing burst and swamped the DPP offices allegedly destroying some crucial files hours after the Directorate of Intelligence and Security Services (DIS) former Director General Isaac Kgosi was arrested at Sir Seretse Khama airport. DPP staff had the shock of their lives Wednesday morning when they reported for work to offices submerged knee deep in water.

The bizarre plumbing accident provided grit for the conspiracy theories mill. At the time of going to press the Sunday Standard had not established if the plumbing pipe burst was an act of sabotage of just an accident.
