Feasibility studies for Lesotho-to-Botswana Water Transfer scheme to be completed by 2026

Following a site visit to Lesotho, the Executive Secretary of the Orange-Senqu Commission (ORASECOM), Comfort Molosiwa, says that after Covid-occasioned delays, feasibility studies that are being conducted in service of the long-awaited Lesotho-to-Botswana Water Transfer Project (LBWT) are progressing well. As the first Botswana citizen to head the ORASECOM (whose head office is in Centurion in Gauteng Province, South Africa) Molosiwa started work this month on a five-year contract.
