For a government that is yet to hit the 12-month mark in office, the situation is not as bad as is generally made to be.
There have of course been too many unforced errors.
Both the party and government would have done without those mistakes.
But those mistakes have largely been a result of inexperience.
Some had predicted the sky would soon be falling down on to us. It has not done so, at least not as yet.
