A 40-year-old man of Mogoditshane lost his life on the spot when his car overturned just by Metsimotlhabe to Kopong turn-off on Saturday morning.
He was found lying on the ground.
Mogoditshane Police Station Commander, Kaleba Mabotenyane, said he suspects that the man, who was travelling alone, was fatigued and failed to control his vehicle.
Although investigations are still ongoing, police said that they do not suspect that he was drunk.
Another accident, which happened on Sunday night, involved a 24-year-old man who was certified dead upon arrival at Princess Marina Hospital. Acting Station Commander of Gaborone West Police Station, Assistant Superintendent Edwin Motshosi, said the man died after he failed to control his speed when he tried to overtake and encroached into another lane and caused the horrific accident just by Tlogatloga Junior Secondary School. He said that his car overturned and rolled leading to the death driver and three major injuries and two minor injuries of people who were in the other car, an Audi driven by a 62-year-old man.
