The government’s decision not to release a portion of the Global Fund monies aimed at human rights interventions by the civil society has raised eyebrows.
In a report seen by Sunday Standard, the Global Fund also took issue with what it calls Botswana’s “infrequent and expensive bio-behavioral surveys” in reference to Botswana Impact Surveys. Global Fund expressed concern that the surveys are not likely to address some HIV challenges.
