The Board of Hodges Resources Ltd said it has appointed Ralph Rossouw to the position of Technical and Operations Manager for the company with immediate effect.
According to the company, Rossouw brings a broad range of business skills to Hodges with a particular focus on developing the Company’s coal resources in Botswana following the past 18 months of successful exploration and drill campaigns at Hodges’ major thermal projects.
“The appointment of Rossouw marks a milestone for the Company as it progresses the Morupule South and Moiyabana coal projects through the mining-economic studies and ultimately to a development decision,” said the company in a statement.
In his role as Technical and Operations Manager, Rossouw will be responsible for the development of the Company’s coal projects.
Rossouw has more than 25 years’ international experience in the mining industry. He has previously held senior technical, operational, project and executive management roles with BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Anglo America, Goldfields and Placer Dome (Barrick) as well as with junior Australian and United Kingdom companies.
