Industrial Court orders BURS to ‘abort’ plans to retrench managers 

Courtesy of the Gaborone Industrial Court, non-unionised managers of the Botswana Unified Revenue Services staff members have, at least for now, dodged a bullet that was made in Washington D.C., shipped to Botswana and fired downstairs from the C-suite of a low-rise at the Gaborone CBD that looks like a steel cage. However, there is still no cast-iron guarantee that the bullet might ricochet back and hit some of them.
