Inflation slows to 9.4% 

Botswana’s inflation slowed in July as a sharp drop in fuel prices eased transport costs, offering relief to consumers and businesses after prices surged earlier this year.

Annual inflation fell to 9.4 percent from 10.7 percent in June, according to Statistics Botswana. The 1.3 percentage-point decline followed a 6.5 percent drop in the transport index, the largest monthly decline among major spending groups.
