Kgafela II, longtime ally may split

During the month of February, I was inundated with calls from people who had either seen or heard of the suspension of Moruleng’s “interim leader”, Kgosi Ramono Linchwe by Kgosi Kgafela II on social media. They wanted confirmation of it believing that because of my proximity to the royals of Mochudi, I would tell if it was fake news or real.  At the time when I thought the enquiries had subsided, the issue cropped up again during my visit to the home of the bereaved family of Sebegi/Morokotso who lost their mother, Batlang Sebegi. She was a prominent member of the village’s Spiritual Healing Church. One of her sons is the current Senior Assistant Commissioner, Pilane Sebegi. The family was preparing to bury her before the Easter holidays.
