A power struggle within the Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) has pitted patron and former President Ian Khama together with Secretary General Tshekedi Khama with party leader Biggie Butale and his supporters.
The matter has reached the High Court.
Sunday Standard has seen an application in which Butale, cited as the 1st Applicant and the party cited as 4th respondent have dragged Tshekedi Khama and Ian Khama before the High Court. Tshekedi who is a former minister and currently a Member of Parliament for Serowe is cited as the 1st respondent and former President Khama as the fifth respondent. The matter is before Justice Matlhogonolo Phuthego.
