I was greatly disappointed when I listened to legislators debate the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs budget in Parliament this past week. At least some of them came across as people who had little interest in knowing what makes economies work. It is one thing to have no clue about what makes economies tick. It is quite another if you think what you do not know does not matter.
