Matlhabaphiri apologises for misleading parliament

The Assistant Minister of Labour and Home Affairs, Gaotlhaetse Matlhabaphiri, has apologized to parliament after he found out that he had been misled into misleading the House.

This followed a previous answer Matlhabaphiri gave that the Bank of Baroda had two citizen managers.
After some investigations, the Minister found out that there are no citizen managers at the Bank of Baroda, only supervisors.
All the top managers are Indian.

Members of Parliament have become very vocal about the lack of will on the part of the Bank of Baroda to fill senior positions with citizens.
Matlhabaphiri, however, said he has since received some assurance from the bank’s managing director that they will be signing an agreement with trade union to normalize their relations.
