Miss Millennium High Tea comes round again

In true ‘Zen Promotion’ style, events management guru, Zenzele Hirschfeldt, is bringing a new flavour to the annual Ms Millennium Beauty pageant.

The pageant, strictly for women over the age of 40, has been under the stewardship of 79 Macheri for the past two years while Zen Promotions ventured in other avenues of the industry.

Following a two year absence from this event Zenzele is back with a bang and as expected has brought something new and different to the table. Following a series of social responsibility ventures preceding the pageant, Zen Promotions in Collaboration with Millennium Jazz Caf├® and Distell will host its first ever Ms Millennium High Tea under the theme ‘Finding a balance as a working woman in the 21st century.’

“This is the first high tea for Miss Millennium participants and former queens. As the organisers of Miss Millennium we want to equip these women with issues surrounding their day to day lifestyle activities,” said Hirschfeldt.

She further stated that she, as a business woman, gets to also play a role in being a single mother, philanthropist, daughter and sister.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 15, and is expected to showcase presentations by Batswana women from all walks of life telling their own stories of how they find their balance and keep abreast despite the patriarchal society they are brought up in.

The event will be to be hats affair moment, so ladies are expected to grab a summer hat and a dress for this afternoon soiree. It would be an incomplete girls day out should issues of fashion, beauty tips and weight loss not be mentioned.

The high tea will end in style as the attendants will be treated to light snacks, champagne and wine.
