Molepolole’s notorious criminal suspect nailed

A notorious armed robber, together with his crime partners who have been terrorizing residents of Molepolole and the surrounding areas, was arrested by police last Monday.

Information passed to Sunday Standard suggests that the suspected criminal was planning to execute two robberies by intercepting and hijacking a cash-in-transit vehicle and to also hijack a Kgalagadi Beverages vehicle as it delivered or collected cash from supermarkets.

The station commander of Molepolole police station, Superintendent Andrew Bosilong, told Sunday Standard that they had finally managed to arrest one of the most wanted suspected criminals who had been at large for some time.
He said the suspect Botsi Kefitile, 26, of Tshosa Ward in Molepolole, was located and arrested by the police together with his two crime partners at Gakgatla Village near Molepolole last Monday.

He said though they had managed to re-arrest Kefitile, they are still looking for another alleged dangerous suspect, Michael Mogome, who is still at large.

A few weeks ago, the suspects are alleged to have shot and injured two people during an armed robbery in Molepolole.
