Ms Botswana 2015 draws to a close

As the road to the much anticipated Ms Botswana 2015 is drawing to a close, organisers saw it fit to conduct a media meet and greet with the finalists vying for the crown. The pageants spokesperson, Ms Tshepo Maphanyane explained to the media that on the final day, their number one priority is punctuality; dinner at 7pm sharp and within an hour at 8pm it will be curtains up.

Maphanyane promised a fun filled action packed show with entertainment that will be 100 percent local and the girls will grace the stage with gowns designed by our very own local designers.

The organisers took into consideration the fact that different people have different tastes and varying income capacity thus they came up with the four tier ticket system with the prices ranging between P250 and P1500.

Since being identified as finalists, it was the first time the ladies came out and were given a platform to introduce themselves to the public. It is an interesting versatile group of ladies with different talents, aspirations, motivations and dreams. With the girls’ ages ranging between 19 and 25, the organisers are confident that any one of the ladies will be able to represent Botswana on the international stage at the forthcoming Ms World Pageant. At some point one of the girls, Keamogetse Moalosi introduced herself to the attendants in fluent Portuguese and left the attendants in awe.

The ladies are also engaged with different groups and organisations for their Beauty with a purpose category, with most of them working with youth and children.

Ms Botswana is scheduled to take place on September 29th at the Gaborone International Convention Centre and the Queen crowned that evening will go on to represent Botswana at the Ms World pageant. On the night, the girls also stand the chance to be crowned Ms Congeniality, Beauty with a purpose, Ms Atheletic and the Top Model of the pageant.
