NSAs not aware of Botswana’s Sexual Harassment Policy in sports

Amidst the allegations that they are slow to adapt and adopt Botswana’s sexual harassment policy in sport, National Sports Associations (NSAs) say they are not aware of the policy document’s existence.

The policy, which was pioneered by Women and Sport Botswana (WASBO) and the Botswana National Sports Commission (BNSC) has been in existence for five years. A handful of NSAs, which this publication reached out to, said their offices had never received the said policy document. They are also clueless as to what is contained in the policy and its guidelines.
